Mehdia Beach
Mehdia Beach stretches along the Atlantic at the mouth of the Sebou River, a wide expanse of golden sand backed by dunes and a historic Kasbah. It's one of Morocco's earliest surf spots — American servicemen stationed nearby introduced surfboards here in the early 1960s, and the consistent beach-break swell still draws surfers today. Weekends bring families from Kénitra and Rabat for grilled fish, horseback rides along the sand, and sunset views over the river estuary.
